Our Journey

Rundle Management Services (RMS) was founded in 1995 by Ronald Rundle following his retirement as the Managing Director of the Cape of Good Hope Bank in South Africa.

Together with his son, Dave Rundle and Rob Baillie, RMS was established to provide personal, high-quality financial advice to individuals that were looking to move away from dealing with big corporates and generic solutions.

In 2015, RMS became a subsidiary of the Skybound Capital Group. However, the business remains independent in its advisory role and operates autonomously.

With close connections to many of South Africa’s top professional athletes, RMS has developed a niche service to complement that already provided to private clients, and it has become one of the leading Financial Advisers to international professional athletes.

Through attention to detail and genuine care, RMS Advisory has positioned itself as a niche, flexible and independent financial services provider.

    Dave is one of the co-founders of RMS Advisory and leads the RMS team as a whole.

    Dave has over 30 years of experience in advising clients on their financial affairs and has been a key driver in establishing RMS Advisory as one of the country’s leading financial advisory firms.

    Michael Stain

    Managing Director

    Michael has 18 years of experience in Private Banking and Wealth Management, having worked in multiple countries for some of the world’s largest banks including National Bank of Abu Dhabi and UBS Switzerland.

    Michael provides critical banking knowledge and industry experience to the team.
